Our building has both seen it all and been it all in the heart of Historic Wayland for over 185 years. We are committed to honoring that rich history and creating a fresh experience and new neighborhood space for everyone to gather.

History

Town House has been just that since the beginning — the town’s house. It’s been a meeting house, school, library, church, market, and even housed a telephone switchboard.

    Lorrenzo M Lovell purchases the building and converts it into a dry goods and grocery store, which it remains over the next hundred years.
